Relieve Achy Joints with Movement
A joint is like a
hinge, connecting two bones. If a hinge is used frequently
enough, it does not need lubricant to remain squeak free. Once it is
out of commission for an extended period of time, it squeaks,
creaks, and rubs. Human joints can have the same effect. Each
time we exercise our joints, nutrients are absorbed by them;
consider it feeding the joints. Take shoulder pain for example
which is common as we age. The reason for this is that as we get
older, we tend to raise our arms less and less. We put things
lower on shelves and easily within reach. Without exercising our
joints or 'hinges,' we prevent them from getting nutrition, and
when we try to use them we ache or feel pain. Fortunately joint
health products are available to lubricate joints. The
best advice for achy joints is movement and drinking plenty of
water which helps our cartilage. A good supplement designed for
joint health can help. If you have pain that is too
severe and prevents mobility, get checked for torn cartilage, or
try an over the counter pain relief cream. Many people
incorrectly believe that not moving or resting their joints is a
good solution. This does more overall harm than good, and
movement is the key to keeping joints in good health. |
